OVERVIEW OF LS ELECTION :-

लोक सभा चुनाव - 2019 

The Lok Sabha elections for the formation of the 17th Lok Sabha-2019 will be held across the country in 11 phases between April 11 and May 19, 2019. The election results were announced on 23 May. In which the Bharatiya Janata Party won 303 seats and the BJP-led alliance (NDA - NEMO DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE) won a total of 355 seats GT. The Congress party won 52 seats and the Congress-led coalition (UPA-United Progressive Alliance) won 91 seats. Other parties and their coalition won 96 seats.

At present the number of Sinto in the Lok Sabha is 545, but the election was held at 542 Sinto and 2 Sinte is reserved for the Anglo Indian community. This Lok Sabha election was to be held on 543 Sinto, but after the huge amount of cash was recovered at Vellore in Tamil Nadu, the Election Commission canceled the election here.

लोक सभा चुनाव 2019 का अवलोकन :-

17 वीं लोकसभा के गठन के लिए लोकसभा चुनाव -2019 देशभर में 11 अप्रैल से 19 मई 2019 के बीच 7 चरणों में आयोजित कराये गए। चुनाव के परिणाम 23 मई को घोषित  किये गए।  जिसमे भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने 303 सीटों पर जीत हासिल की और भाजपा के नेतृत्व वाले गठबंधन (NDA - NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC ALLIANCE) ने कुल 355 सीटे जीती। कांग्रेस पार्टी ने 52 सींटे और कांग्रेस के नेतृत्व वाले गठबंधन (UPA- UNITED PROGRESSIVE ALLIANCE) ने 91 सींटे जीती। अन्य दलों और उनके गठबंधन ने 96 सींटे जीती।  

वर्तमान में लोकसभा में सींटो की संख्या 545 है , लेकिन चुनाव 542 सींटो पर हुआ और 2 सींटे एंग्लो इंडियन समुदाय के लिए आरक्षित है।  ये लोकसभा चुनाव 543 सींटो पर होना था लेकिंग तमिल नाडु के वेल्लोर में भारी मात्रा में कैश बरामद किये जाने के बाद चुनाव आयोग ने यंहा पर चुनाव रद्द कर दिया था।

• सबसे बुजुर्ग सांसद  के रूप में नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस के फारुख अब्दुल्ला (उम्र - 82 वर्ष ) निर्वाचित हुए है।  उन्होंने जम्मू कश्मीर से पीडीपी के आगा सईद मोहसिन को 70,050 वोंटो के अंतर से हराया था।  
• पूर्व दिल्ली से भाजपा के गौतम गंभीर ने कांग्रेस के अरविंदर सिंह लवली को 3,91,222 वोटो के अंतर से हराया था। 
•  लोकसभा चुनाव  -2019 के दौरान पूर्वोत्तर भारत के राज्य मिजोरम के इतिहास में लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने वाली पहली महिला लालथ लामौनी बनी । मिजोरम में लोकसभा की एकमात्र सीट है।
